Test Methods

The choice of test method is critically important to achieve a successful outcome in emissions testing.  Stack-Air offers clients the rigour and accuracy of internationally approved standard methods.

Our equipment and experience lies predominantly with methods developed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) as described in the Code of Federal Regulations Title 40 Part 60 (40CFR60), Appendix A, and 40CFR61, Appendix B.

The equipment used by Stack-Air has been designed and built to meet the specifications of the methods described.  The test engineer has been trained in the use of the equipment and the requirements of the methods.

We are also familiar with a number of methods from other codes, such as CARB and VDI, and routinely employ them, as appropriate.

In addition to these reference methods, Stack-Air has the ability to develop variations and new methods for specific situations.  For example, we have developed a macro-reticular resin-based method to test for siloxanes.  Please contact us for advice on your specific needs.
